Anne Shotter Presents:
Using Tarot to Tell a Story
We all understand The Fool's journey through the Major Arcana. This presentation will guide you to discover your personal story as told by the Tarot.
The Tarot is a rich, creative source of stories of unmeasurable expanse. It connects to our imagination through the language of symbols. We become familiar with its characters, their strengths and weaknesses. In our readings, we see the paths we are drawn to travel, sometimes chosen and sometimes fated. It is from this vast and complex potential that we can also draw amazing stories from our imagination. When reading for a client there are other considerations for us to consider. But have you ever just let your imagination create a beautiful story from the cards? Pamela Coleman Smith, the artist who drew the scenes in the Rider Waite Smith deck was also a set designer for the theatre. She thereby gave us an abundance of amazing settings to choose from to begin our stories. Please bring your own cards.
Biography: Tarot is my passion and I have worked with Tarot as a reader, teacher, mentor, and presenter for over thirty-five years. I was the founding President of The Tarot Guild of Australia and have occupied many roles since its inception.

The Knights Journey
NAME OF PRESENTER : Carolyn Johnson
The Knights Journey – A crusade to find your mission. The Court cards are often the most difficult to interpret. In this journey, we focus on the Knights. What are their individual meanings? What is their association with Astrology and timing? Do they represent people? Are they only young males? What if multiple Knights bring a message in a reading? We follow these characters on an intriguing journey much like the sort of heroes in myths and legends of past Medieval times.
The Knights journey is a crusade to find themselves in times when not at war. The Knight of Swords is pursuing truth, writing, knowledge, communication or technology. The Knight of Wands is pursuing fun, creativity, humour, athleticism or spirituality. The Knight of Cups is pursuing love and romance. The Knight of Pentacles pursuing work and money. But there is so much more. We learn about each Knight and their individual attributes. What do they bring to a reading? How do we look at the Knights as timing cards? What is the story of each Knight? Like the Knights of the Round Table and other Medieval stories of chivalry, challenges and personal journeys, they battle within themselves.
BIOGRAPHY OF PRESENTER
Biographer of Presenter Carolyn Johnson is a self-taught Tarot Reader with over 30yrs experience and short course teacher for 3 years at Perth TAFE. She uses her guides to transfer information into her readings to offer clarity to life’s questions. Feeling energies at a young age and not understanding this aspect of herself led her on a journey to the spiritual through attending Tarot Card readings, meditation, channelling, spiritual development and energetic healing classes. After realising Tarot is better taught in person than out of a book, she crafted a short course on how to read Tarot and TAFE ran these courses which were very fun and successful.

Aligning Tarot Suit Cards with Star Signs: Unveiling the Cosmic Connection
NAME OF PRESENTER: Berry McSherry
In the mystical realm of divination, the Tarot serves as a profound tool for gaining insights into our lives, guiding us through the ebbs and flows of existence.
Within the Tarot deck lie four suits, each symbolizing distinct aspects of human experience and emotion. These suits—Cups, Pentacles, Swords, and Wands—hold a profound connection to the celestial bodies and the cosmic energies that shape our destinies. Parallel to the Tarot's symbolism are the twelve astrological signs, each imbued with its unique traits, strengths, and challenges. When these two systems intertwine, a fascinating tapestry of archetypes and influences emerges, offering deeper layers of understanding and guidance. In this exploration, we embark on a journey to align the Tarot suit cards with the twelve zodiac signs, unravelling the cosmic threads that bind them together. By delving into this synergy between Tarot and astrology, we illuminate the profound connections between the cards and the stars, offering seekers a richer understanding of themselves and their paths.
