The Swan River Tarot, The Original story

This presentation explores the greatest mystery of the Tarot: Where did the story of the Tarot come from? The persistent uncertainty regarding the Tarot's origins has led to a global consensus that its origin is, and always be, lost in the veils of ancient history. Or is it? My presentation challenges this worldview and proposes that the origin of the Tarot story can be traced back to the indigenous dreaming stories of the Swan River in Western Australia. In this presentation, I will introduce the Swan River Tarot, a set of 23 major arcana Tarot cards that I have created to show how the story of the Fool's journey in the Tarot directly correlates to: The Indigenous stories of particular places on the Swan River The shape of the Swan River and features of the landscape And the story of the Swan River post-colonization Please join me for a thought-provoking presentation that reshapes our understanding of the Tarot, our cultural history, our perceptions of reality, and our connection with the world's most ancient civilizations.
