Meet Carmel-Anne
The Tarot Guild of Australia was established in 1992 and is known as being the world’s oldest Tarot Association. Our aim is to raise awareness of Tarot in an ethical manner that is highly respectful of spiritualists, Tarot readers of all levels and those receiving tarot services. We are an association that values our members and also offers a professional certification program allowing our certified tarot readers to proudly showcase our certification badge. We also offer workshops all over Australia, which are highly recognised as a place to add to your knowledge and to connect with like-minded people. We value our members and support their tarot journey in all the ways we can.
With this in mind, we are honoured to introduce one of our newer members Carmel-Anne, who is a professional Tarot Reader, Founder of Soulfully Guided and proud member of the TGA. Carmel-Anne opens up about becoming a member of The Tarot Guild of Australia,
“What a privilege to be a member of the Guild! To be a part of this association with the most recognised, respected and finest Tarot Readers and Spiritualists in the country. The TGA is a safe and welcome place for me to share my knowledge, beliefs and my spiritual gifts while learning from other renowned members. I value your high standards, practices and ethics.”
Carmel-Anne plans to become a lifetime (Professional) member and complete our Certification process to advance her qualifications and recognition. But with two children, a husband some four-legged children, a country lifestyle, and a business, life can be quite demanding for her.
We introduce Carmel-Anne in this blog because as strong supporters of all our members, it has become known that Carmel-Anne has received an award for her Tarot Reading Business. This marks a milestone in our industry and for Carmel-Anne as spirituality and mysticism begins to be acknowledged in business sectors as award winning services and businesses. Carmel-Anne has won the proud title of Australia’s “Most Compassionate Spiritualist and Tarot Reader of 2023”, an award given by APAC Insider. APAC Insider’s mission is to recognize and award excellence in businesses across the Asia Pacific Region.
Carmel-Anne was one of the shortlisted businesses for APAC Insider’s seventh annual Australian Enterprise Awards 2023. Carmel-Anne was originally recognized by APAC as an innovative leader in our industry and for consistent outstanding customer service. As these awards are based on performance (not voting), all shortlisted Australian businesses were put through a rigorous process and scrutinized by a panel of top business judges. Through this thorough examination into Carmel-Anne and her business, Soulfully Guided, judges awarded her compassion and raving 5 star reviews; and this is how our member came to be titled Australia’s “Most Compassionate Spiritualist and Tarot Reader of 2023”.
At the TGA, we are proud supports of all our members and their achievements. We have many incredible members with outstanding gifts and reputations. Each day, in the best way they can, they dedicate their lives and careers to helping and guiding others with their spiritual gifts and hearts. It is only natural that we want the best for our members and showcase their brilliance no matter how big or small. After all, Carmel-Anne continues to build her business slowly, grasping an unexpected shift from hobby side gig to award winning business. “We all start somewhere” she says “but we never start something with any guarantees where it will lead us”. Carmel-Anne pleads, “Don’t ever give up on you, even if everyone else has. I never imagined 10 years ago my life would lead me here. When you begin to show up for yourself, the universe shows up for you too.” This is an incredible milestone for all things mystical, spiritual and Tarot. This is a time to be proud of all that we have achieved, autonomously, united and as a part of our association.
