How to Read the Zodiac Spread

How to Read the Zodiac Spread.

Once the cards are laid out, scan the Tarot cards before you start interpreting them. The cards are read in relation to each other, the spread position.

Scanning creates a foundation and gives focus to the reading. Scan the numbers and suits and the symbols. Look for patterns and connections. Tell the story in the cards. Identify the connection to each card.

When the Tarot reading is predominately made up of Minor Arcana, these highlight the more practical aspects of life and can refer to current issues that have a temporary or minor influence.

Is there any Major Arcana cards in the House they rule? Ex: Aries, 1st House, The Emperor.

If there is a Majority of Major Arcana indicates that powerful outside forces are presently affecting their life, because of this they are learning to grow spiritually from their experiences. You can pick another card to give you more information about the Major Arcana card.

The Major Arcana are beyond your control. When you see a Major Arcana card in a Tarot reading, you are being called to reflect on the life lessons that are currently being experienced at this time.

You may be experiencing life changing events that will have long term effects.

These are important lessons that you must pay attention to in order to progress further in your spiritual and personal journey.

If there is a Majority of Wands, are connected to our will, creativity, inspiration and a sense of power

If there is a Majority of Cups, are connected to our emotions, values and relationships. Intuition, sensitivity, family and friends.

If there is a Majority of Swords is connected to our inner world, intellect and communication. Thoughts, ideas and decisions.

If there is a Majority of Pentacles are connected to the material world and our physical self. Monet, work, the body.

If there is a Majority of Court, then other people are involved and have an influence in your life.

Pages are ready to explore a new opportunity. Knights are highly action oriented. Queens are receptive and leads from a place of inner power. Kings are dominant, authoritative and leads from a place of outer power. You can pick another card to go with the Court card to give more information about the person.

What suit is missing in your life? Wands [passion], Cups [love, emotions, feeling], Swords [thoughts and communication needed], Pentacles [grounding and practicality needed.

Deep Card. This is the card at the bottom of the deck. This is what is really going on. [Unconscious] Look at the card. You can interpret it at the end if you want to add more information to the reading.
