Tarot - A Pathway within with Debbie Ford

Using my Raider Waite deck I will share my experience in using my cards during a very personal journey through Breast Cancer. The cards were used in conjunction with my dreams. I would wake, write my dream and consult the cards. This was done to provide me with an image that would offer direction and understanding of what was happening within. Each time the unconsciously chosen pictorial image seemed to resonate and offer an invaluable creative wisdom that would help my healing and uncover meaning that may have remained hidden.

About Debbie

I am a West Australian Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist and have been in private practice since 1995. First in Chelsea Village Nedlands and now at the Centre for Psychology and Counselling in Fremantle. I specialise in dreams in a clinical context. My first profession was in nursing, having trained at Princess Margaret Hospital for Children. My knowledge of the body is balanced with my knowledge of the psyche. I am a committee member and past vice-president of the CG Jung Society of WA. I have been a past lecturer and supervisor of trainee Psychotherapists, meditation and dream group facilitator, group facilitator at Holyoake for four years and volunteer Counsellor at Canteen for over 15 years. I was on the board of Relationships Australia for five years.
